Thomas Lopez is an Arizona native who came of age between Phoenix and Tempe. Running with the older first-wave instigators who built the original scene, he absorbed the history firsthand before stepping in as a drummer during the second-wave Phoenix hardcore explosion. He is the founder of Slope Records and Slope Press.
